Message From Principal
Welcome to the College of Physiotherapy
As the Principal, it is my privilege to welcome you to a community dedicated to excellence in healthcare education, clinical innovation, and compassionate patient care.
Physiotherapy is a dynamic and rapidly evolving healthcare profession that sits at the intersection of science, movement, and human empathy. Our goal is not merely to teach students how to treat diseases or conditions, but to empower them to transform lives—restoring movement, enhancing function, and improving the overall quality of life.
At the College of Physiotherapy, we bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world clinical application. Our comprehensive curriculum is designed to blend rigorous foundational sciences with advanced clinical training and modern research methodologies.
The College of Physiotherapy is attached to the multispecialty, 1,500+ bedded Dhiraj Hospital, which provides state-of-the-art facilities. The Physiotherapy OPD has specialized areas, including Neuroscience, Musculoskeletal Science, Sports Science, Cardiopulmonary Science, Paediatric and Neonatal Science, and Community and Rehabilitation Science. These specialized areas ensure that our students gain invaluable hands-on clinical experience early in their academic journey.
We also explore emerging fields beyond rehabilitation, including fitness and wellness, to empower the next generation of healthcare leaders.
We believe in a holistic educational philosophy. Beyond clinical expertise, we nurture essential soft skills such as empathy, ethical practice, critical thinking, and collaborative teamwork. Our dedicated faculty members are not only educators but also mentors, researchers, and active practitioners who are passionate about guiding the next generation of physical therapists.
Whether you are a prospective student taking your first step toward a rewarding healthcare career, a current student striving for academic excellence, or a visitor exploring our university, we invite you to be a part of our journey.
Warm regards,
Dr. Kalpesh Satani, PT, Ph.D.
